aria-labelledby=\"elementor-tab-title-1685\"><p>On <strong>Friday 28 March 2025<\/strong> at <strong>NSPCC National Training Centre<\/strong>, we hosted an all-day event to hear the views of those who had been treated for cancer in the last three years, or have a long-term health condition.<\/p><p>During this event we discussed the health passport, where attendees were asked to share their insights on what this would mean for people with cancer and long-term conditions. are transported safely, effectively, and sustainably between their nominated place of residence, to, from and between NHS-funded healthcare facilities in a timely manner, enabling them to receive These are groups of patients that help their surgery to work better with patients. Every GP surgery is expected to have a PPG.<\/p><p>We created a PPG Network and run monthly meetings to support PPGs to work more closely together, provide peer support and share good practice. During these meetings, we also update members on healthcare services in the area and provide them with the opportunity to share their views on future services and let us know what works well for patients within their practice and local area.<\/p><p>Each PPG is encouraged to join the Network and send at least one of their members to the monthly meetings.<\/p><p>Outside of the meetings, we keep members up to date about local and national NHS developments.<\/p><p>If you are interested in joining your own GP practice\u2019s PPG, you may contact them directly or follow the volunteer link below.
