NHS prosi mieszka\u0144c\u00f3w Leicester, Leicestershire i Rutland (LLR) o przy\u0142\u0105czenie si\u0119 do rozmowy na temat zaprzestania stosowania produkt\u00f3w bezglutenowych na recept\u0119.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rada ds. Opieki Zintegrowanej Leicester, Leicestershire i Rutland (LLR ICB) rozpocz\u0119\u0142a sze\u015bciotygodniowe konsultacje spo\u0142eczne i pragnie pozna\u0107 wp\u0142yw proponowanych zmian na pacjent\u00f3w i ich rodziny przed podj\u0119ciem jakichkolwiek decyzji.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pacjentom, u kt\u00f3rych zdiagnozowano celiaki\u0119 i opryszczkowe zapalenie sk\u00f3ry, przepisuje si\u0119 obecnie maksymalnie osiem jednostek bezglutenowego chleba lub m\u0105ki miesi\u0119cznie. Recepty na produkty bezglutenowe realizuje w ca\u0142ym LLR oko\u0142o 1300 os\u00f3b.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Konsultacje spo\u0142eczne, kt\u00f3re zako\u0144cz\u0105 si\u0119 w niedziel\u0119 25 sierpnia 2024 r., pozwol\u0105 na podj\u0119cie przysz\u0142ych decyzji NHS dotycz\u0105cych tego, czy powinna nadal przepisywa\u0107 produkty bezglutenowe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Propozycje LLR ICB opieraj\u0105 si\u0119 na wielu czynnikach, w tym na zwi\u0119kszonej dost\u0119pno\u015bci \u017cywno\u015bci bezglutenowej. W przesz\u0142o\u015bci \u017cywno\u015b\u0107 bezglutenowa by\u0142a trudniej dost\u0119pna, dlatego sprzedawano j\u0105 w lokalnych aptekach na recept\u0119. Jednak wraz ze wzrostem \u015bwiadomo\u015bci na temat celiakii i nietolerancji glutenu, a tak\u017ce og\u00f3ln\u0105 tendencj\u0105 do spo\u017cywania mniejszej ilo\u015bci glutenu, dost\u0119pno\u015b\u0107 tych produkt\u00f3w w wielu supermarketach i Internecie jest coraz wi\u0119ksza. Wprowadzono tak\u017ce ulepszenia w zakresie etykietowania \u017cywno\u015bci, dzi\u0119ki czemu \u0142atwiej jest sprawdzi\u0107, czy zwyk\u0142a \u017cywno\u015b\u0107 nie zawiera glutenu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr Nil Sanganee, dyrektor medyczny NHS LLR ICB, powiedzia\u0142: \u201eICB rozumie, \u017ce decyzja o zaprzestaniu przepisywania bezglutenowego chleba i m\u0105ki na recept\u0119 b\u0119dzie mia\u0142a r\u00f3\u017cny wp\u0142yw na ludzi, dlatego naprawd\u0119 wa\u017cne jest, aby\u015bmy wzi\u0119li pod uwag\u0119 pogl\u0105dy pacjent\u00f3w, rodzin i lekarzy, aby\u015bmy byli w pe\u0142ni \u015bwiadomi prawdopodobnych skutk\u00f3w, zanim podejmiemy decyzj\u0119 o najlepszym wsparciu pacjent\u00f3w.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eChocia\u017c zdajemy sobie spraw\u0119, \u017ce \u017cywno\u015b\u0107 bezglutenowa jest cz\u0119sto dro\u017csza ni\u017c r\u00f3wnowa\u017cne produkty zawieraj\u0105ce gluten, niestety cena p\u0142acona przez NHS za \u017cywno\u015b\u0107 bezglutenow\u0105 na recept\u0119 jest znacznie wy\u017csza ni\u017c ceny w supermarketach lub w Internecie, co by\u0142o czynnikiem wp\u0142ywaj\u0105cym na nasza propozycja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eDiet\u0119 bezglutenow\u0105 mo\u017cna r\u00f3wnie\u017c stosowa\u0107 bez konieczno\u015bci spo\u017cywania jakichkolwiek specjalistycznych produkt\u00f3w dietetycznych, wybieraj\u0105c produkty zawieraj\u0105ce naturalnie w\u0119glowodany bezglutenowe, takie jak ry\u017c i ziemniaki, w ramach zdrowej, zbilansowanej diety\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
