Members of the public are invited to Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland Integrated Care Board’s (LLR ICB) Annual General Meeting (AGM) next month.
The AGM will take place on Thursday 14 September between 1pm and 2.30pm at the Leicester Racecourse, with registration and refreshments from 12.30pm.
The event will provide an opportunity for patients, stakeholders and staff to find out more about the ICB, including the services it commissions, how it has performed, how it has managed its budget over the last financial year (2022-23) and plans for the future.
Andy Williams, Chief Executive of the Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland ICB said: “I would encourage people to attend our AGM to find out first-hand how we have been planning and delivering local health services to meet the needs of our population and how we have been delivering our financial responsibilities.
“We will also share insight into our transition last July, from Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) to an ICB, what closer partnerships across our local health and social care system has meant for us, our patients and the services they receive. There has been some excellent work and positive outcomes and we want people to come along and celebrate these key successes and achievements during our AGM.
“We will also have a questions and answers session and although you do not have to attend the meeting to submit a question, we look forward to welcoming as many people as possible.”
Anyone wishing to attend the meeting in person should email llricb-llr.enquiries@nhs.net or call 0116 2957572 before Friday 8 September 2023.They will then be contacted with an agenda and further details of where they will need to go to at the venue.
Any questions should be submitted in advance so that responses can be planned and provided at the meeting where possible. Anyone wishing to ask a question is requested to email the ICB’s Corporate Affairs team at llricb-llr.enquiries@nhs.net by 4pm on Friday 8 September 2023.
