Organisation description

The Sikh Community Centre is a local voluntary organisation that was formed in 1992 to meet the basic needs of the local community. We have been providing a basic service which has been sufficient; for individuals with learning disabilities, ESOL classes, child care service and social activities etc. The Sikh Community Centre sees approximately 8,000 people annually for varying levels of support. The need for information advice and guidance in areas of welfare, immigration advice and English language skills is continuously growing with the population of Leicester City being the most diverse across the country.
