The LCPCF is a Dfe funded forum representing the City of Leicester within the National Network of Parent Carers Forums for parent carers of SEND children and young people. LCPCF works with the LA, EHC providers and third-sector organisations to improve services in Leicester City. We will work with parents and carers of children 0-25years, the Local Authority and the NNPCF regionally and nationally to assess, develop, improve, or maintain those services.
Leicester Mammas supports parents during the First 1001 Critical Days, with feeding their baby, understanding their baby's needs, building parental confidence, maternal and infant mental health and breaking down social isolation and exclusion
Domestic abuse and sexual violence support services across Leicester. Leicestershire and Rutland. Services include specialist children and young people support, and a specialist pregnancy and maternity post. We offer a range of 1-2-1 and group support options.
The Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (LLR MNVP) brings together the voices of mothers, parents and professionals to help shape local maternity services.
We provide emergency food & supplies for residents who are referred to us in financial crisis in the Harborough and Blaby District Areas and signpost clients to other agencies who may be able to alleviate their situation.
Place2Be is a children and young people's mental health charity with almost 30 years' experience working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools.
We provide mental health support in schools through one-to-one and group counselling using tried and tested methods backed by research. In addition, we also offer expert training and professional qualifications.
Reaching People is a ready-made consortium of local Voluntary and Community Sector organisations working across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland aiming to:
- deliver significant, improved, and lasting impact and outcomes for local vulnerable people, and
-- enable the development and provision of high- quality interventions providing significant return on investment.
We facilitate integrated and partnership working across the VCSE and enable the coproduction of solutions to promote equality, alleviate poverty and reduce health inequalities.
We have a track-record of delivering innovative, high-quality solutions improving health & wellbeing, homelessness, access to information, advice and guidance, and learning and training.
The purpose and the charitable objects are:
a) The advancement of education, by providing community education, homework clubs and out of schools education, community awareness raising, life essential training and ESOL classes.
b) The prevention or relief of poverty, people living in the UK and Somalia by providing practical support, services and facilities. We provide advice and assistance to families and their children to improve their living conditions.
c) The provision of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.
