24/7 Helping Hands Service is a small domiciliary care provider based in Leicester providing care to adults with dementia, autism, physical and mental disabilities and other health conditions. All of our Telephone Befrienders are DBS checked. Our aim is to address the issue of loneliness and how it affects peoples health. We work through GP surgeries and the Social Prescribers (NHS) and Local Area Coordinators (Social Services) who identify people we can support. The Befrienders call the Befriendees on a regular basis to chat and check all is OK. 6 monthly reviews are carried out with the Befrienders to check all is OK with them.
