<br \/>agents \u2013 i.e. cyclophosphamide and mycophenolate mofetil or have been <br \/>taking Steroids for more than a month.<\/li><li>you have had &#8211; An organ, bone marrow or stem cell transplant.<\/li><li>you have been told you have &#8211; HIV, multiple myeloma, leukaemia, <br \/>lymphoma, myeloma, lupus, or a genetic disorder which affects the immune <br To help keep those most vulnerable protected throughout the year, the NHS offers <strong>interseasonal COVID\u201119 vaccination<\/strong> for people whose immune systems are severely weakened and need extra protection outside the main spring and autumn\/winter vaccination campaigns.\u00a0 Eligibility for an interseasonal COVID-19 vaccination offer is available for people aged 6 months and over who have a condition or receive medical treatment that severely weakens their immune system (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gov.uk\/government\/publications\/covid-19-the-green-book-chapter-14a\">as defined in COVID-19: the green book<\/a>), chapter 14a, such as:<\/p><ul><li>Organ, bone or stem cell transplant recipients<\/li><li>People receiving chemotherapy or radiotherapy<\/li><li>Those on long-term immunosuppressive treatments<\/li><li>People with HIV infection<\/li><li>Individual with haematological malignancies<\/li><li>Those receiving immunomodulating biological therapies<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>How to get your interseasonal vaccine<\/strong><\/p><p>If you are eligible, your GP practice, specialist team, or the NHS may contact you directly. If you&#8217;re unsure whether your condition or treatment makes you eligible, please speak to your GP practice, pharmacist or specialist clinician.<\/p><p>Eligible patients can now book appointments for the spring Covid-19 vaccination with vaccine appointments.
