Coalville Urgent Care Centre

GP talking to a patient, an example of a possible scenario at Belgrave Healthcare Hub

Coalville Urgent Care Centre is available to support patients with their urgent care needs when their GP practice is closed, and they need urgent treatment, including cuts and minor injuries such as sprain.

The Coalville Urgent Care Centre is suitable for urgent care needs but not emergency attention.

Treatment at Coalville Urgent Care Centre can be accessed by:

  • Visiting NHS 111 online
  • Calling NHS 111 if they do not have online access or for children under 5.
  • Via GP referral
  • If a patient goes straight to the Emergency Department they could be asked to go to the UTC instead.

Please use NHS 111 first

Always use NHS 111 (online or by phone) if you need urgent care. They will ensure you receive the right care for your condition, in the right place and as quickly as possible. They will even arrange and appointment or arrival time slot. Help to keep Accident and Emergency free for life-threatening conditions by following this advice.

To ensure you receive the best treatment, the reception team will ask you a series of questions about your condition, to help provide the best clinical assessment.
