We operate entirely outdoors in various wooded sites in north Leicestershire and our mental health support services include:
6-week Wellbeing in the Woods courses, combining mindfulness and self care strategies with crafting and peer support
Forest Therapy (also known as Forest Bathing) walks
Regular drop-in sessions around the campfire for food, connection, chat and a variety of nature based crafts and skills
Regular Social Wellbeing rambles
In 2022 we supported service users with long term conditions such as MS, ME, Fybromyalgia, Mild to Moderate Mental Illness, PTSD, Loneliness, Anxiety and Depression.
Bharat Sports Club is Leicester’s oldest minority-led cricket club. We have over 90 members, with three senior mens teams, a women's team and youth boys and girls teams. At the heart of our work is a commitment to empowering young people and underrepresented communities, particularly those from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds - we are currently expanding our youth and women’s cricket programmes not just to improve technical cricket skills, but to build confidence, resilience, and ambition—especially among girls and young women who face cultural, social, or economic barriers to participation.

b inspired is a multi-purpose Community Anchor organisation in Braunstone, Leicester. Working to improve the lives of people in Braunstone through a range of services, including: Foodbank, Food Pantry, Be-friending for over 55's, Men's Groups, Mental Health projects, volunteer opportunities and training, community activities, health promotion, a Community Hub with a Community Café and a wide range of children and Young Peoples activities.
Breathing Space is a free, confidential listening service for adults (18+) supported by trained volunteers and counsellors-in-training under the supervision of a fully qualified BACP counsellor.
Bright Hope in North West Leicestershire works within the area to support individuals who have a condition that leads to a reduction in quality of life or who have been diagnosed with a life limiting condition as well as offering support to their partner or carer.
We make and share resources and training to help asylum seekers, refugees and other disadvantage second language speakers with cultural integration, English language and literacy learning, wellbeing and women's and men's health. We work those supporting both adults and children / young people in a wide range of settings across the UK. With ever-increasing rates of obesity, stress, and declining mental health, our Waterways & Wellbeing social prescribing project supports people where they live. Our canals and rivers run through some of the most heavily populated communities in England and Wales, providing accessible green and blue space where it’s needed the most.
