If you need support for your mental health and wellbeing in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, there are many options:

Contact your GP Practice from 8am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday. 

Call 0330 094 5595 for VitaMinds (talking therapy service).

24/7 support is available over the phone, call NHS 111, selecting option 2 for mental health. This number is open 24 hours a day and is totally free and confidential. Click here to find out more

Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafes

The Neighbourhood Mental Health Cafés  are part of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust’s local support for people who need immediate help with their mental health. The cafes are drop in centres for anyone to come and talk to us about their mental health – no appointment needed. We have supportive, trained staff who can listen and provide the practical support you need.

Vita Health Group provide Talking Therapies

If you are experiencing excessive worry, low mood, depression, anxiety or a lack of motivation, you can contact Vita Minds. 

Getting support is easy, you can simply self-refer. Talking Therapies is a free and confidentialservice and you don’t need to visit a GP to get started.

Joy – Social Prescribing

Joy is a free health and wellbeing support website to support people living and working in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland (LLR).

Tellmi offers free digital mental health support, 365 days a year, for anyone aged 11+ in Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
