Volunteer with your GP Surgery and make a real difference
Volunteering with your GP surgery is very rewarding and gives you the opportunity to help improve healthcare services for you, your loved ones and your community.
Joining your GP surgery patient group, allows you to help shape future healthcare services. Made up of likeminded people from your community you will meet on a regular basis to discuss services and how improvements can be made and also supporting patient care.
As well as helping improve local services, you’ll make new friends, meet people from all walks of life, learn new skills and gain new experiences.
There is an open invitation for anyone that would like to become a volunteer. Many volunteers want to put something back into their community and make an impact. They tell us that by investing a little bit of time, it not only improves the lives of other people, but they also feel their own health and wellbeing improves. There is no greater reward than a strong and thriving community.
