The Leicester Tigers Foundation utilises the power and expertise within Leicester Tigers Rugby Club to help make a positive difference to the lives and opportunities of 1000's of individuals and groups every year.
With an ever increasing footprint the Foundation through its multiple delivery programmes reaches further and wider every year thanks to the great support from its patrons and the Tigers fan base.
The focus of the foundation is driven by it's core values helping others across five key areas, Disability in Sport, Community Cohesion, Health, and Education
LWFA is an all-ability all-inclusive cycling organisation. We run more than 100 events each year and are expanding our operations. We run events for social care and special education organisations as well as public sessions open to all. Our base is Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium in Leicester.
Live Cancer Free was founded in 2015 by a dedicated team of three doctors with PhD in cancer prevention from the University of Leicester. Our core mission is to reduce cancer-related deaths by promoting preventative measures, building awareness of risk factors in highly deprived areas in Leicester, and helping people to recognise the early signs of cancer.
Domestic abuse and sexual violence support services across Leicester. Leicestershire and Rutland. Services include specialist children and young people support, and a specialist pregnancy and maternity post. We offer a range of 1-2-1 and group support options.
The Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (LLR MNVP) brings together the voices of mothers, parents and professionals to help shape local maternity services.
We provide free, high quality, compassionate care and support to terminally ill adult patients, their family and carers across Leicestershire & Rutland.
Since 2015, we have provided a range of supportive and therapeutic activities for adults living with enduring mental health issues in the Charnwood area. We work in partnership with other VCS groups (e.g. Carers Centre) as well as local partners, including Local Area Coordinators, Social Prescribers and the Integrated Care Network.
We run weekly Wellbeing Cafes as well as creative groups, such as the popular Stitching Well group, and the weekly Veterans Wellbeing Hub.
Love4Life is the primary programme delivered by TwentyTwenty. We specialise in supporting vulnerable girls aged 11-18 in Leicester, Leicestershire & Derby to develop their self-esteem and form positive and empowering relationships. We deliver Love4Life groups and one-to-one support in schools and the community, as well as offering Relationships & Sex Education workshops.
All our work embeds positive self-worth, body image and the handling of emotions in order to help a young person become more resilient. Our belief is that once young people feel good about themselves they are more likely to make positive choices in their health and relationships.
We provide emergency food & supplies for residents who are referred to us in financial crisis in the Harborough and Blaby District Areas and signpost clients to other agencies who may be able to alleviate their situation.
Our purpose is to reduce social and rural isolation by providing transport services to the residents of Lutterworth and the surrounding villages (including Broughton Astley) using cars and minibuses driven by volunteer drivers.
