Providing students, educators and researchers access to documentary media content as an independent museum and community comms consultancy.
Through the creative use of documentary media (e.g. documentary films, photography, audio, and new media) we co-curate exhibitions, events and immersive experiences that connect individuals with the world around them.
24/7 Helping Hands Service is a small domiciliary care provider based in Leicester providing care to adults with dementia, autism, physical and mental disabilities and other health conditions. We provide personal care, medication assistance, meal preparation and much more, all in the comfort of our service users’ homes.
Focus is a young people's charity that supports 13-25 year olds from Leicester. Our philosophy is simple: we believe that through volunteering and community activity, vulnerable young people can develop the skills, self-confidence and aspirations they need to lead fulfilling lives. Our asset-based approach inspires young people to believe in themselves, because we believe in them and the power they have to create change for themselves and in their communities.
Sapcote Memory Hub is a not-for-profit organisation for people with mild to moderate dementia, or memory problems providing cognitive stimulation therapy, activities & social interaction, we also offer advice and support to the families of our group members.
Sessions aim to actively stimulate and engage people with dementia or memory problems, whilst providing an optimal learning environment and the social benefits of a group.
Norton Housing and Support is a registered Charity and provider of social housing based in Leicester. It provides a range of services for those with mental health needs including accommodation with support, drop in sessions and floating support services. In addition, Norton Housing and Support also offers accommodation to vulnerable women (with or without children) who are at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness.
At Pepper's - A Safe Place, there is no charge, no agenda and no pressure. Just an opportunity to meet a friendly face, take some time out to improve your mental health and wellbeing. We are open to all over 18’s. We offer multiple drop-in sessions a week at which, you can relax with a cup of tea or coffee, chat with others, share experiences or just take some time out. At our Melton and Oakham centers we offer a range of organised activities: cookery, arts and crafts classes, board games, gardening, Tai Chi, and mindfulness sessions.
The Arc exists to allow people to come together to help build a more cohesive and supportive community in the south-west area of Loughborough. We aim to:
• Increase access to support services for young people to improve their health and well being
• Increase residents’ sense of belonging and engagement in their local community, by providing regular social events, exercise classes, police and councillor drop-ins.
• Increase access to support services and activities for older people in their locality to reduce feelings of isolation
At ZamZam Unlimited Possibilities CIC, we work cooperatively and creatively with young leaders, community groups , and organisations. We provide bespoke cultural workshops and life skills to help young leaders succeed outside the classroom, diminish stereotypes between communities, and strengthen community cohesion. The workshops provide life skills, knowledge, and cultural education to reduce harmful stereotypes across communities in a unique, innovative, and accessible manner.

St. Philip’s Centre brings people together, challenges assumptions and educates through exciting, informative and interactive programmes. We promote mutual interfaith relationships and understanding to communities and organisations. Since our foundation, we have led efforts to ensure religion and belief is harnessed for the good of all. Our programmes for schools are consistently overbooked and our track record in delivering high-quality training to communities, public sector organisations and across the third sector is second to none. We have educated and engaged thousands of people – from school children to the Police, Fire Services, Armed Forces and other workplaces.
