HCYC supports vulnerable and isolated children and young people across Harborough District through play and youth work sessions, clubs, and projects using our mobile 'Chill Out Bus' and local venues. Founded in 2012, we are a locally focused charity helping 450–500 young people each year to improve their well-being, relationships, confidence, and life skills.
Care for the Carers is an independent charity and the Carers Centre for East Sussex.
In Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland we provide Think Carer, a carer awareness training for professionals, paid staff and volunteers, in charities and public sector, who work with members of the public and come across carers. Supporting professionals and organisations to identify unpaid carers and help them access available support.
In East Sussex, we provide free practical and emotional advice to unpaid carers, run carers groups and social and wellbeing activities for carers of all ages. We offer support and training to professionals working with carers and support carers to have a voice.
We are a social enterprise consultancy helping community organisations with business planning, business model innovation, and income diversification. We also help businesses to develop customer and staff communities. We are a key partner in the Government's Help to Grow course through our association with the University of Leicester; the author of the Leicester Growth Accelerator for Social Entrepreneurs; and were a key partner with the Zinthiya Trust on their Business Playbox project.
We are the Maternity and Neonatal Voice Partnership for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. There is an MNVP in every Trust area in England. Each is an independent voice for mothers, birthing partners and their families. We listen to their comments and experiences and use this information to help improve services in the area.
Breast Cancer Now is the UK’s leading breast cancer charity, combining world-class research with vital support services for anyone affected by breast cancer. We fund cutting-edge scientific research to improve diagnosis, treatment and care, while providing trusted information, a helpline, and community support to help people navigate the physical and emotional impact of the disease. Working in partnership with communities, healthcare professionals and policymakers, we strive to ensure that everyone with breast cancer receives the best possible care. Live Cancer Free was founded in 2015 by a dedicated team of three doctors with PhD in cancer prevention from the University of Leicester. Our core mission is to reduce cancer-related deaths by promoting preventative measures, building awareness of risk factors in highly deprived areas in Leicester, and helping people to recognise the early signs of cancer.
Femina Polish Centre CIC is a community organisation dedicated to supporting the wellbeing, mental health, and social integration of Polish-speaking women and families living in the UK. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and culturally sensitive space where individuals can access emotional support, improve their mental resilience, and build strong connections within the local community.
The Essential Baby Co CIC is a dynamic force dedicated to enabling positive change in underrepresented communities. We develop and project manage community-driven initiatives that ignite transformative solutions. Our commitment is to empower underrepresented communities while prioritising unmet needs in perinatal services. Through the haPPIE® initiative, we champion active participation ensuring that voices are heard, needs are met, and solutions are co-created. Every community project contributes to our overarching goal: eliminating healthcare disparities, drive eliminating healthcare disparities, driving inclusivity, and advocating for equitable opportunities.

A community hub located in the heart of Leicester and serving Highfields area supporting a predominantly black and minority ethnic community in one of the most deprived and disadvantaged parts of the city. Programmes to help its service users overcome isolation, develop self-confidence, learn new skills, make new friends and contribute to community life. Serving all groups in the community irrespective of their ethnic background, gender, age or disability. Activities for all age group starting from birth to elders, a Day centre for people recovering with mental health and learning disabilities, ESOL, Confidence building, Keep fit sessions and many more.
