Men Also Do Matter2 (MADM2) is a community group working with Black men through advocacy and support. We believe that happy families are the foundation for safer communities and a harmonious society – our entry point is supporting Black men in their life struggles which are seldom talked about. We advise and support men through life’s most difficult moments, including conciliation for couples facing relationship challenges and families facing disintegration. We provide formal and informal support, grounded in our understanding of the diverse cultural complexities at play, while creating pathways for referrals to other support Agencies.

An inclusive, self-funded Nordic walking community group who aim to increase awareness of the many benefits of Nordic walking as a form of exercise for all ages and conditions. The poles aid balance, posture, decrease pressure on lower limbs including lower back and improve shoulder and neck issues. Research has shown it is beneficial to those with Parkinson's, balance issues, arthritis, osteoporosis and many other long term health conditions. Due to the social nature of the outdoor walks we do it has proven to be very good for mental as well as physical health.

PYCA was established in 1993 and situated at 58 Earl Howe Street, Leicester.
PYCA provides educational, leisure, advisory and support services to the wider local community in Leicester. Our training programme covers a wide variety of accredited as well as non-accredited courses.
PYCA’s importance in the community was acknowledged in 2014 by the local authority who transferred their building asset to the charity as part of the Asset Transfer Scheme.
We are an approved Training Centre by University of Cambridge, OCR and NOCN.
Peace of Green exists to provide therapeutic and creative time in nature, to improve mental health and wellbeing. We offer sessions in nature that blend nature connection, bushcraft, arts and crafts, mindfulness and therapeutic techniques. We truly believe that everyone has a right to spend time and space in nature, and specialise in working with groups of people who often may not have opportunities to access natural spaces because of finance, age, gender, ethnicity, ability or other factors. We work hard to ensure that what we do is as inclusive and accessible as possible.
