We are an inclusive community choir. Although we rehearse in Groby, people can come from anywhere in Leicestershire. There are no auditions, and we are an inclusive group that welcomes people with memory loss and carers. Singing is fun and the companionship can be a lifeline for people who are isolated. We have two concerts a year
A Support Group for Artificial Nutrition
We're here to support those who are unable to eat food. Here we understand the unique challenges you face, and offer a compassionate community where you can find understanding and encouragement. Join our community, get started with your Battle Plan, or attend one of our events.
Our mission is to provide a safe space where you can share your experiences, ask questions, and receive support from others on a similar journey. Whether you are receiving Parenteral Nutrition (TPN), tube feeding, or other forms of Artificial Nutrition. You are not alone.
Leicestershire GATE is the only not for profit organisation working with Traveller and Gypsy communities across LLR. We provide a range of advocacy and support aiming to ensure that the specific needs, traditions and cultures of the most marginalised communities in Britain are understood by external statutory and VCS organisations. We create a link between the communities and agencies, we ensure that both parties have a deeper understanding of each other and we provide the in depth support needed to community members to improve their daily lives.
The Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (LLR MNVP) brings together the voices of mothers, parents and professionals to help shape local maternity services.
We are RNID: the national charity supporting the 12 million people in the UK who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. Together, we will end the discrimination faced by our communities, help people hear better now and fund world-class research to restore hearing and silence tinnitus.
We are also known as E2, a UK charity supporting disadvantaged individuals in Beaumont Leys Ward, Leicester. E2 bridges the digital divide, providing technology access and enhancing digital and language skills. E2 empowers marginalised youth and adults through community initiatives. These include a food pantry, guidance services, alternative education for excluded youth, open-access youth sessions, community safety programs, and awareness campaigns addressing current issues. E2 follows the 'Circle of Courage' philosophy, enabling troubled youth to transition positively into adulthood. Serving diverse age groups, E2 delivers holiday activities, clubs, sports, and youth services, supporting residents, academic success, well-being, and brighter futures.
We are a community centre run by One Church. We offer groups for 5 - 11's & 11 - 16's weekly in term time. Through the winter months we run a warm welcome space with free lunch.
