Sapcote Memory Hub is a not-for-profit organisation for people with mild to moderate dementia, or memory problems providing cognitive stimulation therapy, activities & social interaction, we also offer advice and support to the families of our group members.
Sessions aim to actively stimulate and engage people with dementia or memory problems, whilst providing an optimal learning environment and the social benefits of a group.
Shama Womens Centre has been established for more than 37 years to empower women to become more active economically, educationally and improve their health and wellbeing including mental health. We do this by providing a range of training, educational programmes, mental health counselling and befriending. Many of our women are from BAME communities we provide ESOL classes, domestic abuse support, help into work and a range of creative peer support workshops in cooking, baking, hair and beauty, textiles training . We have onsite gym and sauna to help improve physical wellbeing and an onsite Ofsted registered nursery.
The main focus of the Foundation's work is to ease loneliness and suffering and to offer comfort and support to the elderly and adults of all ages with disabilities, throughout the Leicestershire area.

We exist to provide a range of services to support local residents, including an environmental project, social therapeutic gardening project, neighbourhood mental health café and legal and welfare rights advice and advocacy.
The purpose and the charitable objects are:
a) The advancement of education, by providing community education, homework clubs and out of schools education, community awareness raising, life essential training and ESOL classes.
b) The prevention or relief of poverty, people living in the UK and Somalia by providing practical support, services and facilities. We provide advice and assistance to families and their children to improve their living conditions.
c) The provision of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving their conditions of life.
Somali Development Services (SDS) is established in 2001 as a pilot project and became a company limited with guarantee in 2003 and 2017 became Community Interest Company. The key aim of Somali Development Services is empowering and supporting Somali Community and other ethnic minority communities that are not accessing mainstream services and are socially disadvantaged or at risk of social exclusion.
SDS provides various services for the Somali community and different ethnic minorities in Leicester.
